A mezze is essentially a combination of small dishes and ingredients, usually served as an appetizer. A mezze platter is easy to prepare, and you probably already know at least three recipes that can get your mezze platter started.

Of course, you can prepare a few recipes in advance for a more elaborate mezze platter, such as:

Falafel
un taboulé
Tahini sauce
yougurt sauce

It also depends on how much you want to cook from scratch, since some items can be bought ready-made. Personally, I prefer my mezze platter to be 100% homemade.

To complete the mezze platter, I add homemade dips such as hummus and baba ganoush, grilled vegetables, fresh ingredients like marinated olives, lettuce, cucumber, and tomatoes, along with a creamy tahini sauce to finish the dish.
