- 1 shortcrust pastry
- 350 g pecans
- 140 g honey
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 50 g butter
- 60 ml maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Line the pie crust with a removable base if possible, and blind bake the shortcrust pastry for 20 minutes.
- Roughly chop half of the pecans using a knife.
- In a salad bowl, mix the eggs, honey and brown sugar.
- Melt the butter in the microwave and add it to the mixture.
- Add the chopped pecans and maple syrup.
- Pour this mixture onto the pre-baked pie crust.
- Decorate the top with whole pecans,
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy after the pie has cooled.
