Recipe for authentic American pancakes, easy and quick to make — real fluffy, soft, and airy pancakes.

- 225 g all-purpose flour
- 310 ml milk
- 50 g melted butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 4 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt with a wooden spoon. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, crack the egg and add the milk.
- Add the melted butter and vanilla extract.
- Whisk with a fork until everything is well combined.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture.
- Stir the batter with a wooden spoon until no large lumps remain.
- To cook, heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium-low heat.
- Once hot, add a little butter and pour in a small ladle of batter.
- Cook each pancake for 2–3 minutes on each side.
- Repeat until all the batter is used.
- Serve the pancakes stacked with butter and maple syrup. Enjoy!
