Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g of Fresh Figs
  • 1 tsp of Lemon Juice
  • ¼ tsp of Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick

  2. Pour in the lemon juice, vanilla extract, and add the cinnamon stick to the saucepan.
  3. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent the compote from sticking to the pan.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the compote to cool to room temperature.
  5. Once cooled, take out the cinnamon stick.
  6. Transfer the compote into a small jar and store it in the refrigerator. It can be enjoyed fresh, within 4 days
