The classic Quiche Lorraine is a simple savory tart with a flaky pastry crust and creamy filling, enriched with bacon and melted cheese.

- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 150 g turkey or chicken bacon (halal)
- 3 eggs
- 200 ml liquid cream
- 200 g grated cheese
- Salt & black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200 °C (about 390 °F).
- Unroll the puff pastry and prick it (with a fork) over the base. Line (or “fonce”) a deep tart pan with it.
- In a skillet without added fat, cook the bacon for 4 to 6 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towel.
- In a bowl, beat together the eggs, cream, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the grated cheese and the cooked bacon.
- Pour the mixture into the pastry‐lined tart.
- Bake in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is nicely golden.
