Description

Cool off with this easy homemade grenadine or pomegranate syrup granita, a refreshing frozen treat made with pomegranate flavor.


Ingredients

  • Grenadine syrup adjust with water to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Juice of 1 orange


Instructions

  1. Combine grenadine syrup, lemon juice, and orange juice in a wide dish (shallow works better than deep).
  2. Pop it in the fridge/freezer.
  3. Every hour, scrape the forming ice with a fork to break it into delicate crystals.
  4. Repeat 4-6 times over ~6 hours until fully icy.
  5. Chill glasses ahead of time for best presentation.
  6. Scoop the granita in, top with mint leaves and pomegranate seeds, and serve instantly.
